The Documentation Centre serves as the Gateway for Information and a Clearing House on all matters related to literacy, population education and adult education at the national level. It disseminates information, ideas and materials pertaining to population education. It brings out Bibliographies, Indexes/Abstracts on lifelong learning, adult education and population education. It keeps various agencies, institutions, researchers and scholars informed about the development in the field within India and other countries on adult education and population Education. It also brings out a bimonthly newsletter and a quarterly journal on Population Education.
IAEA accords high priority to train the adult education functionaries. Since inception it has been organizing training programmes for adult education functionaries and public opinion leaders at various levels. Various publications and programmes including All India Adult Education Conferences organized regularly by the Association have played/are playing important role in providing a platform of discussion, debate and exchanging views to the students, scholars and academicians working in the wider realm of adult education and lifelong learning……
